Patty is a chocolate palomino mare transferred from a rescue in Missouri. The combination of Toffee's emotional and physical problems led to her placement with a private rescue (at the end of December 2003) for more rehab than we are equipped for. She will remain in sanctuary there indefinitely.
Update (July 2004) - Patty is doing GREAT! While
her leg will never be normal, it does not seem to bother her. And
Polly reports that her attitude is so much improved, we won't recognize
her. Can't wait to go see! |
